What is an Essential framework and what is a Professional framework?

Professional frameworks are standards and/or legislation suitable for organisations with higher compliance requirements. Examples include ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIS2 QM30. Essential frameworks are lighter in nature and suitable for organisations with a limited risk profile or those just starting with compliance. Examples include ISO 9001, NIS2 QM10, and GDPR. What exactly does the implementation discount include?

Your plan includes a discount on our implementation services. The discount is applied once, to the implementation package you choose. The hourly rate itself depends on the scope of the work and which consultant is assigned. View all implementation services on our implementation page.

Can I add extra functionalities without upgrading to a higher licence?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Many functionalities are available as add-ons. You can add these to your current licence and pay the add-on price on top of your base subscription. The add-on prices are listed in the detail table, next to the respective functionality. You can add add-ons to your existing licence at any time.

Do you provide support during external audits?

Yes, as part of the implementation process, we request quotes from qualified auditors on your behalf. You decide which quote to accept. The costs of the external audit itself are not included in our consultancy fee for implementation, but we ensure a smooth audit process.

I work in a large company. Why should I choose an Enterprise licence?

With an Enterprise licence, we create customised arrangements for your organisation. This includes specific procurement terms, tailored service levels, and extensive customer support. Enterprise also offers solutions for custom integrations that allow you to automatically collect evidence from your systems.

How many user accounts do I get with each subscription?

With all licences (Essential, Professional, Scale, and Enterprise), you get unlimited access to user accounts. This allows everyone in your organisation involved in compliance to fulfil their role without additional licence costs.

Can I switch to a more subscription later?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can upgrade to a more subscription at any time. All your data and configurations will be preserved, and you'll gain immediate access to all new functionalities. Our support team will guide you through the transition to ensure it goes smoothly.

What is the test environment?

Accepted Answer

The test environment is a separate environment within your Tidal account where you can safely test changes before applying them to your production environment. This is available from the Scale plan onwards.

How quickly can I start using Tidal?

After receiving a signed contract, we'll set up your environment within 48 hours. This includes all agreed-upon content such as controls, risks, and policy documents. This allows you to immediately begin building your compliance program.

Question 10

How long does my subscription run and how do I cancel it?

Accepted Answer

A subscription runs for twelve months and is then extended by one year at a time. Whether you pay monthly or annually determines how you are invoiced, not how long your contract runs. You end the subscription at the end of the running period by giving written notice at least one month before that period ends, as described in our SaaS Terms and Conditions.
