AI assistant
Tidal AI helps your team move faster on the work that used to take days: risk assessments, business impact analyses, policy drafting, control mapping. And with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, you can now drive your entire compliance environment from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or VS Code, with permissions scoped to your role.

- TidalBot, trained on your compliance context
TidalBot lives inside Tidal and reads from your organisation's profile, controls, risks, assets, and documentation. Instead of generic answers, you get suggestions grounded in how your business actually works.
- Faster risk assessments
Ask TidalBot to assess a specific IT risk and get a structured proposal (likelihood, impact, controls in scope, and rationale) that you can accept, refine, or reject. The hard part of starting an assessment is gone.
- Guided business impact analysis
Run a BIA on a business asset directly inside the platform. TidalBot recommends a CIA classification (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability) or asks targeted follow-up questions when the input isn't complete.
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or VS Code to your Tidal Control tenant via MCP, an open standard for AI tools. Your assistant can query and update risks, assets, controls, vendors, and documents, all scoped to your permissions.
- Edit policies and documents from your AI tool
Ask your AI assistant to read, draft, or update the full content of policies and required documents. Approvals and version control stay inside Tidal; the drafting happens wherever you work.
- Your organisational profile, everywhere
Define your organisation's context once under Settings, and Tidal AI uses it across policy drafts, BIAs, risk proposals, and the chat assistant. No more pasting the same company background into every prompt.

Grow your business, not your compliance burden
Every business deals with compliance at some point: while preparing for an investment round, applying for an operating licence, or closing a deal with a big customer.

Frequently asked questions
TidalBot is included with every Tidal Control licence. The MCP integration and the deeper AI-driven editing capabilities are available on Professional and Scale plans. Check the pricing page for the latest breakdown.
Tidal Control is hosted in the EU on Microsoft Azure. AI prompts are processed by our model providers under contractual data processing terms; training on customer data is opted out by default. We do not retain prompts or responses beyond what's needed to render them in the application.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants communicate securely with external applications like Tidal Control. You can currently connect Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, and VS Code (with MCP support). The connection respects your Tidal permissions. Your assistant can never do more than you can.
Query and update risks, assets, controls, vendors, and other GRC data; read and edit the full content of policies and required documents; link controls to tests; add people to groups. Everything is scoped to your user permissions and logged in the audit trail.
TidalBot's proposals are grounded in your organisation's profile and existing data, but they're suggestions, not decisions. Every AI-generated risk assessment, BIA, or policy draft is reviewed and approved by a human owner before it's marked compliant. The audit trail records both the AI proposal and the human approval.
Tidal AI is opinionated about where AI helps and where it doesn't. It won't autonomously approve risks, accept residual risk on your behalf, or sign off audit evidence. Those remain human decisions, with TidalBot providing the analysis that supports them.
