Hi, welcome back to the Tidal Product Update newsletter. For more information and images on the updates, check the What's new section in the Tidal-portal.

Renewed Frameworks page

Clearer overview of your compliance progress

The Frameworks overview page has received a fresh new look and now provides a better view of your compliance progress.

The Framework references page has also been redesigned to present your compliance requirements in a more organized and accessible way.

TidalBot with a new look

Smarter assistance and a more modern interface

TidalBot features a renewed interface, making it easier to collaborate with your AI compliance assistant. TidalBot now also includes direct links to the Documentation and What's New pages.

You can find TidalBot in the bottom right of your screen after logging into Tidal.

New ISO Frameworks

Expanding compliance coverage

Two new frameworks have been added to the Tidal Control library:

  • ISO 22301 – Business Continuity Management Systems
  • ISO 26000 – Guidance on Social Responsibility

Vendor Management Improvements

Manage vendor documentation more efficiently

You can now upload multiple vendor contracts or assurance documents per vendor, directly under the Documents tab.

We've also expanded the vendor database for smoother lookups and made several UI updates to simplify vendor workflows.

Additionally, you can now add a risk rating comment to justify or explain your vendor risk assessments.

New Sorting Options

Easier navigation and organization

Sorting has been added to the Controls, Assets, and Risks pages — giving you faster access to key information.

Control sorting and navigation have also been improved to work more seamlessly with frameworks and references.

Asset, Task & Issue Connections

See all related work at a glance

You can now view Tasks and Issues linked to a specific Asset directly in its sidebar. This helps track ongoing work and dependencies for each asset in one place.

Strict Mode for Evidence Page

Better document visibility control

Strict Mode now applies to the Evidence page, ensuring users can only see documents they have permission to access. This adds an extra layer of security and compliance clarity.

Policy Updates

Better naming and management

All 51 policy tests have been renamed to reflect that maintaining approved policies is an ongoing activity, not a one-time setup.

The sidebar title "How to fix it?" has been renamed to "How to complete this" for clarity.

You can also now register a Resource Policy directly in Tidal Control.

Task Overview Enhancements

More data at a glance

The Task Overview now includes creation date and evidence columns to help identify potential gaps more easily.

You can also now update due dates for multiple tasks at once, improving efficiency for larger teams.

UI & Usability Improvements

A smoother experience across Tidal

  • Clearer empty state messages for users without active tasks
  • Improved onboarding reliability
  • Better layout for task charts
  • Correct filename handling for uploads

Fixes & Stability Improvements

We resolved several issues this month:

  • Login synchronization errors have been fixed
  • Inconsistencies in framework displays have been resolved
  • Filter deselection issues have been fixed
  • Editing archived plans is no longer possible
  • Onboarding reliability has been improved
  • Task card layout has been optimized
  • Filenames on uploads are now displayed correctly

Overall performance, navigation, and user experience have been further refined for faster and more stable operation.

Stay tuned for next month's update, where we'll further expand Tidal's compliance automation and user-friendliness!
