For more information and visuals of the updates, check out the What's New section in your Tidal app.

Google Workspace & GCP tests

Automated compliance checks for your Google environment

Automated tests are now available for Google integrations. Connect your Google Workspace or Google Cloud Platform account to start running the new tests.

The tests cover MFA enforcement, inactive user detection, device management, Drive sharing policies, and GCP infrastructure such as Shielded VMs and IAM policies.

Info

We'll continue to expand coverage in future releases.

Asset categories

Organize your asset inventory your way

Assets can now be grouped into categories, making it easier to manage your inventory and maintain a clear overview. Assign a category when editing an asset and use the new category filter in the asset overview to quickly find the assets you need.

Risk approval workflow

A more structured process for reviewing and approving risks

Risk assessments now follow a structured approval cycle. Each assessment goes through a clear periodic review and approval process, so you can track the full history of previous assessments per risk in one place.

Info

Existing assessments have been migrated but will need to be reviewed and approved within the new workflow.

Interactive evidence viewer

View test evidence without leaving the application

Test evidence can now be viewed directly in the application — no need to download files. You can filter, search, and navigate to related resources, all from within the evidence viewer.

Incident reporting for basic users

Anyone can now report incidents directly

Users with the "basic user" role can now report and manage incidents directly from the platform. They can create new incident reports, track status, and add comments. You no longer need to collect incidents via external tools or register them manually.

Integration & control improvements

More flexibility, less friction

  • Integration configurations can now be updated directly from the platform. Edit connection settings for existing integrations without removing and re-adding them.
  • AWS integrations now support selecting multiple regions, so you can monitor resources across all your regions from a single integration.
  • You can now manage the scope of tests, policies, and required documents by linking them to controls directly from their detail pages.
  • The control overview now supports filtering by effectiveness, making it easier to see which controls need extra attention.

Bug fixes & improvements

This release also includes a number of bug fixes and improvements:

  • Google integration help URLs pointing to incorrect pages, resolved
  • Layout issue with Dashboard width, resolved
  • Jira issue linking and vendor selection popups not opening on empty search results, resolved
  • Confirmation dialog added when deleting vendors or integration configurations to prevent accidental deletions
  • Vendors can now be archived and unarchived from the vendor detail page
  • Improved strict mode usability, including a fix for an error that prevented adding comments
