What’s new | Q3 2024
Get ready, because this Q3 release is a BIG one. We managed – for the first time ever I think – to release everything we promised last quarter. And we’re talking big releases here: A revamped policy center, the start of large-scale automated testing, and more….Happy reading!
Policy center
We’re thrilled to introduce the all new Policy Center. Key features include the ability to create, view and edit policies directly in Tidal, easily approve policies, automated tracking of the need for review, and PDF export. We’re already working on release 2 which will make it possible to link policies to controls and copy-paste tables from Microsoft Word.
Automated testing (beta)
From collecting evidence to scoring evidence. That’s what automated testing brings. With it, you can automate monitoring of processes and cloud security. And, with just a few clicks, you’ll instantly see how changes affect your compliance controls. Tests provide real-time insights so you can ensure everything stays compliant and aligned with your standards. This feature is in beta: we are happy to hear your feedback! Expect more integrations and additional test in the future.
Navigation enhancements pt.2
In our May release we made the first step to make it easier to navigate to a task from a control, and now we have taken it to the next level by introducing two new components: improved control filters, and the controls sidebar. Both are aimed at helping you find back controls and tasks faster. We are now working on making it (even) easier to modify controls, so stay tuned.
Faster page loads
We’ve added many performance enhancements (such as pagination) to overview pages to avoid that you have to wait on your activities or controls to load. Even pages with thousands of controls and tasks will now load under a second. And, if for some reason the page still takes some time to load, you’ll now see a progress bar on top the page. I’d say that’s pretty ‘Enterprise-grade’.
New frameworks
We added two new frameworks: ISO9001 and NEN7510. The ISO9001 standard for quality management and quality assurance helps companies effectively document and certify their quality management system (QMS). NEN7510 instead expands ISO27001 with 33 additional health-care-specific requirements, and is mandatory for organizations processing healthcare data of Dutch citizens. Do you service the healthcare sector? Then this one is for you.
What’s next?
A.I. There, I said it. We’re integrating A.I. Does that mean it’s good enough for compliance purposes? We think it finally is, as the latest results are already amazingly good. Next to that we’ll be adding more features to the policy center and automated testing. Stay tuned!
